Last year when Under The Covers performed at the Veteran's Honour Ride Foundation, (in July 2005) there were some people who attended who liked the band so much, that they immediately wanted to book us for this gig (February 2006). That's a seven moth advance booking. Badass! Now these are two separate events completely. Different venues, different functions, and organized by two different groups of people, yet the fun vibe, and free spirited atmosphere was exactly the same. We even got to see some of the friendly faces from the VHRF there today. The snow held off all day until we broke into our first song. Then it really WAS a winter carnival. The boys in the band were lucky enough to have heaters above their heads while on stage, (Hell, Louie even played in a T-Shirt it was so toasty) but Uncle Neil was right out in the snow. It was great though I loved every second of it. Xana Rogers came with her Grandfather Blake (who took the pictures below, thanks a bunch) and even got up and jammed out Led Zeppelin's Rock N' Roll with us. A tonne of fun was had by all.

Well a year has passed and alot has happened. Under The Covers has gone their seperate ways, and everyone has moved on to other musical projects. This year I got the chance to perform with some really great guys. George Morley on bass, Lance Lindsay on drums and vocals, Keith Clark on Keys, and Tommy Joseph on guitar. We called ourselves "Nothing Personal". It was cool to get to do songs live that I've never had the chance to do before. ie: songs with lots of vocal harmonies, and keyboard tunes. I had a blast as did everyone involved. Thank you so much to Michael White (and his lovely lady Bella) for shooting two seperate videos of the show.
A DVD will be coming very soon.
And thanks a bunch to Tommy's girlfriend Audra, and George's wonderful wife Donna who took the pictures you see here.
Hmmm... music and friends, what a concept. Good music, good friends, good times.
